香港藝術家卓穎嵐入選首屆亞洲協會三年展

國際藝文機構亞洲協會(Asia Society)今日公布首屆亞洲協會三年展(Asia Society Triennial)參展名單,逾40位藝術家,分別來自19個國家,當中包括香港藝術家卓穎嵐。亞洲協會三年展將於 6 月在紐約舉行,本屆主題為「我們不單獨做夢(We Do Not Dream Alone)」。

亞洲協會今日公布亞洲協會三年展參展名單,超過 40 位藝術家,來自美國、英國、澳洲、台灣等共 19 個國家。展覽將於今年 6 月 5 日在美國紐約開幕,主體為「我們不單獨做夢(We Do Not Dream Alone)」。由亞洲協會博物館總監陳文輝和亞洲協會三年展藝術總監 Michelle Yun 策展,近半參展藝術家會為是次三年展創作全新委約作品。

陳文輝表示:「這次可以將一些平時美國觀眾較少機會接觸的藝術家帶來紐約,我們對此感到非常興奮。跨越地理界限與歷史,這次三年展藝術計畫透過呈現人們、活動、時間如何跨越時間與空間,相互連結在一起,對抗人們獨自做夢的現況。」他相信透過藝術的力量可容納全球不同社會間的矛盾。

是次參展的包括徐震、teamLab、Jordan Nassar、Anne Samat 以及 Daniel Crooks 等不同領域的藝術家。

生於1983年的香港藝術家卓穎嵐亦獲邀參與是次展覽。卓穎嵐為跨媒體藝術家,擅長聲音雕塑、新媒體藝術創作及程式設計。她2015年畢業於香港浸會大學視覺藝術碩士課程,主修藝術創作與延伸媒體。近年其作品在油街、XXX Gallery、22 Degrees North、Connecting Spaces、香港浸會大學及蘇黎世藝術大學等均有展演。卓穎嵐於 2016 年創作的聲音裝置《觸不感》,以骷髏骨手模型,配合電腦程式及電子零件,當觀眾觸碰這些骷髏手時,它們會發出起伏不定的聲響。此作曾於大館當代美術館「疫症都市」展覽中陳列。

此外,卓穎嵐的《Message #3》2019年於法國巴黎展出,是其口信系列最新作品。藝術家拆解一部卡式錄音機,並將磁帶變化成各種模樣。創作於2019年的《Message #3》,背景是身穿黃色雨衣、站在白色煙霧中的人,並配以一個被解體、塗上紅色的卡式錄音機,作品讓人不禁憶起反修例運動期間從太古廣場躍下身亡的梁凌杰。
